I am passionate about the creative, entrepreneurial spirit of the small business owner and strive to support and lead them in achieving their financial goals. I simplify and streamline the process with a forward looking focus on growing cash flow and being a valuable partner in the strategic and operational decision process.
I have 30+ years of experience in CFO and financial leadership roles across manufacturing, distribution, service, eCommerce, B2B and D2C industries, encompassing international, Fortune 500, private equity and privately held family businesses. Over my years, I have a strong track record of being the financial voice of reason when advising on growth initiatives, forecasting, cash mangement and internal controls. With a profesional and relaxed manner, this has resulted in productive relationships with management teams, co-workers, external firms, lending institutions, and Boards of Directors. I am a CPA with an accounting degree from James Madison University and MBA from Wake Forest University.

On a personal note, when not engrossed in your numbers, I love sports and the outdoors including hiking, backpacking, nature, and traveling with my wife, Laura. being one of 6 children raised by parents of the Great Depression, and a parent myself, within me are instilled the values of work, patience, adaptability, frugality, and flexibility.
